Activities

We are fortunate that the greater Williamsburg area offers multiple enrichment activities that come directly to our center. Some activities are part of our school-wide programming, while other programs are optional to families in our WCCC community.

WRL Bookmobile

Students love when the Bookmobile comes to WCCC! Our friends from the Williamsburg Regional Library read a story to our school, then students are able to check out a book with their free library card from the Bookmobile, a mobile learning center.

Special Visits

During the summer, WCCC brings local museums and sites to our center to make special presentations. Past visits have included the Virginia Living Museum and the Virginia Aquarium.

Fall & Halloween

At the end of October, we hold our annual Fall Festival, when each child gets to pick their own pumpkin. Parent volunteers help out with face painting, wagon "hay rides," and other fun fall activities.

Families also look forward to our annual Halloween Costume Parade! We take a school-wide walk around the Wren Building courtyard on campus and finish the day with yummy Halloween treats.

Yoga with YogaBaeb

Our upper Preschool and Pre-K classes are welcome to sign up for yoga classes with Ms. Tiffany of YogaBaeb. Sessions take place in the multi-purpose room of WCCC and run in four week segments throughout the year.

Little Lions Soccer

Our upper Preschool and Pre-K students may sign up for soccer through Little Lions Club. This on-site program provides first touch soccer for young athletes while encouraging teamwork and learning through fun-based games.
