Williamsburg Campus Child Care (WCCC) is an independent 501(c)(3) organization.
Community generosity helps us grow our staff and programming, bring new enrichment opportunities to our center, and also provides a cushion of support for unforeseen expenses.
Charitable giving is available through our PayPal.
ADVANCEMENT COMMITTEE
WCCC's Advancement Committee strives to create lasting support for Williamsburg Campus Child Care. The committee works to identify needs and resources for aid, develop and implement programs that engage various communities —including current parents, WCCC alumni, staff and students at William & Mary, and residents of Williamsburg to foster and promote the success of WCCC and its students.
Fundraising Programs
WCCC Tot Trot 1K
The Tot Trot 1K is our flagship annual fundraising event for Williamsburg Campus Child Care. The run takes place in May in family-friendly areas in downtown Williamsburg and is open to the entire Williamsburg community.
Special Events
Various social events, profit shares and other fundraisers are held by WCCC throughout the year. Not only do these smaller profit-share events provide financial support for the center, but also serve as wonderful social opportunities for our families.
Bloomin’ Bucks
Brent and Becky’s Bulbs is a 28 acre farm located in Gloucester, VA that sells bulbs, seed, flowers and more in a ‘Cheaspeake Bay-friendly’ environment. Bloomin’ Bucks is a fundraising opportunity with Brent and Becky’s Bulbs designed to earn WCCC cash for every order received through their website!
Grants
Grants provide invaluable opportunities for WCCC to raise funds for specific needs. Generous support from the Junior Women’s Club of Williamsburg have allowed the Center to host the bi-annual Rags-to-Riches performances, and support from W&M Green Fees allowed WCCC to provide sustainability education to our children.
